Hotel Perelada Retains its MICHELIN Key
Hotel Perelada has once again been recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, retaining its MICHELIN Key during the ceremony held last Wednesday, October 8, in Paris.
This renewal represents an important acknowledgment of the hotel team’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence, hospitality, and attention to detail. Since being included in the first selection of hotels with MICHELIN Keys in 2024, Hotel Perelada has continued to consolidate its position as a benchmark in the Empordà region and on the national hotel scene.
“As for its rooms, we would say it sits halfway between a boutique hotel and a resort and, although its aesthetics lean more towards the former, its facilities are closer to those of the latter. The exterior of the building aims to remain faithful to local tradition, while the interiors are unexpectedly elegant and modern, even though the materials remain warm and natural,” highlights the MICHELIN Guide.
This recognition identifies the establishment as a true gem with its own character and personality, further emphasizing the quality of its service and the comprehensive range it offers, exceeding that of others in a similar price category.
This distinction, launched in April 2024, recognizes hotels that provide exceptional stays according to five universal criteria: excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, personality and overall character, value for money, and a significant contribution to their surroundings.
