Hispano Suiza

Hispano Suiza is a family company in the automotive sector, chaired by Miguel Suqué Mateu, who is keeping the brand's legacy alive after four generations. It was founded in 1904 by his great-grandfather, Damià Mateu, and the Swiss engineer, Marc Birkigt. Between 1904 and 1946, the company designed and manufactured more than 12,000 vehicles and 50,000 aircraft engines.

In 2019 the brand was relaunched with a 100% electric hypercar, the Hispano Suiza Carmen, in honour of Carmen Mateu. The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne drew inspiration from the world of racing and was presented in 2020. Both models have been designed, developed and produced at the company's headquarters in Barcelona.
