Fundación Castell Peralada

Founded in 1995 by the Suqué Mateu family, it was set up to encourage, organise and promote cultural activities and creative talent, such as the Festival Perelada and, since 2019, the Carmen Mateu Award.

It also integrates the conservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Peralada Castle. As President of the Foundation, Isabel Suqué Mateu continues the patronage work started by her mother.
